The Spirit of Olympix
After a long two days of cheers, friendly competition, and culture sharing, we have a winner of the 2016 Frost Valley Olympix! The winner of the spirit award is Japan! We’re already looking forward Japan as the host country for the 2017 Olympix. In the past two days Wawayanda campers participated in banner making, fruit baseball, ultimate egg toss, and the olympic game show. Olympix is an incredible opportunity for campers to meet new kids from other villages, interact with staff members outside of their village, and to gain a sense of different cultures from around the world. The unifying nature of Olympix is part of what contributes to the magic of Frost Valley and what makes second session one of our busiest. We’re looking forward to the last few days of the session. Tomorrow night Lakota and Outpost will be out on their overnights, check back for photos!
