Tokyo Night is Here!
Our Tokyo YMCA Partnership is shining! We have dozens of counselors and campers that join us through this partnership from Japan. Every summer during third session the Tokyo Camp hosts an evening of culture sharing, fun, games and food. This year there are game booths, tea booths, sculptures and even a memorial for the earthquake that devastated Japan on March 11. The culmination of the evening is a traditional Japanese dance presented by the Toyko Camp staff. Every village has an opportunity to go to Tokyo Night and learn, share and have a great time! All the campers having a great time; even as I write I hear music mixed with yelling and laughter from across the field. It is definitely one of the most fun evening of the whole summer.
