Yurts

For Mongolian herdsmen on the grassland steppes of central Asia, yurts have been the primary shelter for centuries. Once deemed exotic and virtually unknown in the United States, today yurt-living continues to grow in popularity for people seeking an eco-friendly structure that provides comfort, durability, and a light footprint. With a circular design and spacious interior, the yurt encourages both socialization and quiet contemplation.

A short walk to the bathhouse, there are 7 yurts for Farm Camp campers, each sleeping 8 kids and 2 counselors. There is an additional yurt for staff. Please note: the yurts do not have power, they are very basic lodging perfect for getting back to nature. Don’t forget your headlamps!
