Fall is the perfect time for families to enjoy seasonal activities like going on hayrides, making apple cider, and painting pumpkins. Frost Valley YMCA invites community members to join us for family events in September and October. On Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m Frost Valley will be holding a 3D Archery Shoot. The event takes place at 2244 Frost Valley Road in Claryville. The 3D archery course consists of a half-mile loop trail with 28 three-dimensional targets along the way including deer, bears, and turkeys. It’s always a little sad to see the summer end. It’s been a great time of exploration and growth for Frost Valley YMCA’s day campers. This year, Frost Valley served over 1,000 children collectively through all of its day camps. The day campers explored pond ecology, expressed themselves through art, challenged their limitations with rock climbing and ropes courses, learned how to cook healthy foods, played games, and went boating and swimming in Lake Cole.
