Discover how we can be good stewards of the Earth and its creatures during our Introduction to Catskill Wildlife class. Meet our resident reptiles and birds and learn what it takes to care for them. Explore Frost Valley on our orienteering course and nature trails, learning about the Leave No Trace Seven Principles©. A Horse Program for Scouts in the Catskills! Get to know our horses! Learn about veterinary care, herd behavior, grooming, and nutrition. Enjoy a lesson and trail ride, as well as numerous non-equestrian activities. East Valley Ranch, just 14 miles from Main Camp, offers an inn-style lodge that sleeps up to 35 guests, as well as seasonal Mongolian yurts that sleep an additional 60 guests. East Valley Ranch offers a more private and personalized experience, and weekend per-person rates start at $219 for yurts and $274 for rooms in the lodge. All meals are included and served in our lodge’s charming dining room.
