A Weekend for Scouts in the Catskills Learn how you can be a better environmental steward of our planet. When the sun goes down, study the stars at our Observatory. ACTIVITIES OFFERED: Observatory, Eco and Space Science time, Night Hike, Low Ropes, Flying Fish, Leap of Faith, Fire Building, Shelter Building, Pond Exploration Our Main Camp offers availability for up to 650 guests, easily accommodating large councils yet also providing a personalized experience for individual troops. $189 per person includes programs, lodging, and meals. A Weekend for Scouts at a Catskill Mountain Ranch! Get to know our horses! Learn about veterinary care, herd behavior, grooming, and nutrition. Enjoy a lesson and trail ride, as well as numerous non-equestrian activities. East Valley Ranch, just 14 miles from Main Camp, offers both a bed-and-breakfast style lodge that sleeps up to 35 guests, as well as Mongolian yurts that sleep an additional 60 guests. Weekend per-person rates start at $239 for yurts and $299 for rooms in the lodge. All programs and meals are included and served in our lodge’s charming dining room.
