Horsemanship Weekend for Scouts
A Weekend for Scouts at a Catskill Mountain Ranch! Get to know our horses! Learn about veterinary care, herd behavior, grooming, and nutrition. Enjoy a lesson and trail ride, as well as numerous non-equestrian activities. East Valley Ranch, just 14 miles from Main Camp, offers both a bed-and-breakfast style lodge that sleeps up to 35 guests, as well as Mongolian yurts that sleep an additional 60 guests. Weekend per-person rates start at $239 for yurts and $299 for rooms in the lodge. All programs and meals are included and served in our lodge’s charming dining room.
