Creative Play with Susky and Forest!

Brother and sister villages, Forest and Susky, combined their creativity today and made up a fun new game that mixed trivia and bowling using a giant inflatable ball and as you may see in the photos, they used their own counsellors as the bowling pins!

Creative play is such an important part of programming here in Frost Valley. Using familiar materials and games but in a new and imaginative way is what we encourage as it helps child development and social skills and is a great way to get children to share their thoughts feelings and ideas. The campers in Susky and Forest worked really well together today and their own invention proved pretty popular with the counsellors too! No counsellors were harmed in the playing of this game….just serious fun was had!
