Is Adventure out there?
Summer is here and it has been full of sun, rain, laughter and smiles, stories and so much more. It’s only been 2 days!!!
We tested our back country cooking skills today and I have to say that these campers are extremely creative and talented when it comes to their cooking abilities.
Everyone here has their game faces on as we prepare for our evening activity of French Rev! French Rev is a glorified game of flashlight tag in the woods. The goal is to sneak into a circle with out getting caught or seen with the flash light. Extremely fun!
And of course searching for a little bit of adventure is important. We have here campers having the chance to explore and be curious today next to the beautiful Biscuit Brook. Watching campers get lost in their curiosity while exploring nature is such a wonderful thing to watch.
We have already seen so much growth from this fine group of campers and I am excited to continue to see even more over the remaining days of this session.
Happy Trails,

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Zach eigenbrodt
Born and raised in Wisconsin, Zach couldn't keep himself out of the woods when growing up. He started working at a Northern Wisconsin YMCA Camp as a wilderness trip leader while in college and fell in love with getting kids into nature. The smiles on kids faces after returning from a once in a life time wilderness experience is why he is here today. Zach brought his talents to Frost Valley YMCA, in 2014, when he started as the Trips Coordinator and soon was promoted to Adventure Director. Zach loves all forms of Wilderness exploration, though some would say his heart lies most with canoeing.
