Sunshine at Farm Camp
After a rainy Wednesday, we took advantage of the sunshine and spent as much of our day as possible outside.
Earlier today campers participated in a bunch of different activities such as foursquare, yoga, fairy house building, candle making, and cloud drawing.
During waterfront many newts and tadpoles were found at the edge of the pond. Campers also enjoyed cooling off in the river. During barn specialty campers did yoga with goats and wrote poems about goats. During garden specialty campers got their hands dirty while harvesting potatoes and kale.
Campers and counselors spent rest hour packing and preparing for their overnight hikes. Currently everyone has arrived at their overnight sites and they have set up tarps and built fires. They will cook pita pizzas over the fire and enjoy s’mores under the stars.
