Have ya ‘Hird’ about Hirdstock?

It has been another wonderful few days here at Frost Valley. The Hird wrapped up their week with a camp wide game of four way capture the flag on Friday. On Saturday, villages took a break from normal programming to have theme days. Theme days often entail doing unique activities that revolve around a specific topic. Some of Saturday’s themes were: cowboy day, alien day, and chumbucket vs. krusty krab day. On Sunday, all of camp participated in Hirdstock. Hirdstock has been happening since the original Woodstock. Way back in the day, counselors had to forego attending the world famous festival in order to stay at camp and do their jobs, so they created a camp friendly version that has been an annual occurrence ever since. Flower crowns, dancing, slip n’ slide, and of course live performances from our campers are all features of this wonderful event.
