We had a wonderful first day of Summer Camp at the Farm. Last night, we celebrated the beginning of the session with a raucous, fun and silly campfire. Campers performed skits, songs and even introduced their super hero identities!
Today was a day of firsts. We had our first chores in the Chicken Coop, Barn, Garden and Dinning Hall. We also signed up for Speciality Classes, which include week long activities in the Barn, Garden and even cooking in the Kitchen! Today, campers in the cooking specialty made farm fresh Kale, Banana and Strawberry smoothies for everyone to enjoy during snack time. This evening, the campers played “Beat the Clock Charades.” In a race against the clock, and each other, our campers played hard to be the yurt who could be the best at charades. Everyone took turns performing and guessing!
We had a fantastic first day, and I can’t wait to see what other amazing things we’ll do this session!
