Overnights and BBQs
Today was a wonderful day in the Hird! After a very exciting and energetic weekend at Hirdstock (including some very hot days), it was nice to be back into our regular schedule and to have the weather cool down a little bit.
Tacoma and Lenape had a swap day today where the counselors from both the villages swapped. Everyone was most excited when they were doing cheers with their new counselors after lunch at Hoopla! They ended the day with a BBQ down on our main field with burgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, and all the fixings.
Our 2 youngest villages, Sacky and Hemlock, went on their overnights tonight. They are staying at an array of beautiful spots, some next to streams, some overlooking all of camp and the surrounding mountains, all with lots of pita pizzas and s’mores!
