Overnights, Theme Days, and Challenge Night!
Today was a very busy day in the Hird. This morning saw 5 villages returning from overnights. Tacoma, Lenape, and Sunburst stayed close to main camp. Pac and Windsong went on an incredible 2 day hike. While they were recovering from their overnights, Hemlock was playing a game of Cornacopia (similar to tag or dodgeball with noodles and soft dodgeballs).
After returning from their overnight, Lenape began their Shrek theme day!
Lastly, Hemlock and Sacky took part in Al’s famous challenge night. Challenges ranged from the twin competition (trying to find the 2 people in your group who look the most similar, pictured below) to the blind toss (a camper is blindfolded and throws a dodgeball towards a counselor holding a jug of water. If they get hit, they dump the water on another counselors head!). The night was topped off with an ice cream party for both villages.
