Wranglers in Training
At EVR we have Wranglers in Training, and they gave me a letter to blog to you all;
Hey Everybody,
Some of you may be wondering what W.I.T’s are. We are wranglers in training, which is a counsellor in training program, with a horse aspect. This week is our “service week”. We have been working with the camp historian, Anna Morelli, to put together a historical exhibit for East Valley Lodge (the big white house) about the history of the house and how Frost Valley acquired it. Last week, we learned how to assist in horse riding lessons, trail safety, and how to plan/teach a ground lesson. Although last week had been rainy, it has not dampened our spirits as we still managed to do everything on schedule and we are more excited than ever for the next 3 upcoming weeks.
